Does Science Show That Haritaki Opens the Third Eye?

No clinical study has demonstrated that Haritaki opens or activates a “third eye.”

That does not mean someone's spiritual experience is invalid.

It means that “third-eye activation” is not an established clinical outcome that researchers currently measure in Haritaki trials.

Scientists instead study measurable outcomes such as:

A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial involving 100 adults aged 40–65 with subjective memory complaints tested a standardized combination containing: Boswellia serrata + Terminalia chebula extracts for 120 days.

Researchers reported improvements in several measured cognitive outcomes compared with placebo.

That sounds promising—but there is an important detail.

It wasn't Haritaki alone.

The intervention contained both Boswellia and Terminalia chebula.

Therefore, the study cannot tell us that Haritaki by itself produced the improvements.

And it certainly cannot be interpreted as evidence of third-eye activation.

This is exactly why reading the details of herbal research matters.

Does Haritaki Decalcify the Pineal Gland?

This is another popular online claim.

At present, there is no convincing human clinical evidence demonstrating that Haritaki removes pineal calcification.
